Assumption Of Responsibility
The renter assumes full and exclusive responsibility for the operation, navigation and use of the boat for the entire duration of the rental. The boat is used entirely at the renter’s own risk and responsibility, including all passengers on board. The company bears no responsibility for any accident, injury, damage, loss, or incident that may occur during the use of the boat.
License-free Boat Declaration
The renter acknowledges that the boat rented is legally allowed to be operated without a boating license according to applicable regulations. The renter confirms that they have received full operational and safety instructions from the company and consider themselves capable of safely operating the vessel.
Safety Briefing
The renter confirms that before departure they received a full safety briefing including:
- boat operation instructions
- safety equipment usage
- navigation rules
- permitted navigation areas
- safe distances from beaches and swimmers
Liability For Accidents
In case of accident, collision, injury, pollution, or damage to third parties, the renter bears full civil, criminal and financial responsibility. The company shall not be held responsible for any injuries or damages caused to the renter, passengers, or third parties.
Passenger Responsibility
The renter is fully responsible for all passengers on board, their behavior, and ensuring that the maximum passenger capacity of the boat is not exceeded.
Damage To The Boat
The renter must return the boat in the same condition as it was received.
In case of damage, equipment loss, collision, misuse, or mechanical damage caused by improper operation, the renter is responsible for covering the full repair or replacement cost.
Damage Security Deposit
The renter provides a damage security deposit before the rental begins. This deposit is returned after the boat is inspected upon return and no damages or missing equipment are found. In case of damage, the company reserves the right to retain part or all of the deposit to cover repair costs.
Fines And Violations
The renter is solely responsible for any violation of maritime regulations and any fines imposed by the Coast Guard or other authorities.
Alcohol And Substances
Operating the boat under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
Personal Belongings
The company bears no responsibility for loss or damage of personal belongings.
Incident Reporting
In case of accident, damage or technical problem, the renter must immediately inform the company and the appropriate authorities.
